In September 2023, the premiere of the play «The Bulge. A Woman in the Shadow of a Huge Forest» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Kursk took place on the stage of the Kursk Drama Theater. The production based on the play by playwright Alexander Demchenko has since taken an important place in the repertoire of the theater. To implement the project, the Humanitarian World Fund invited a team of theatre profeccionals from different cities. The director of the play is Iskander Sakaev, starring Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Elena Gordeeva.
