Сoncert dedicated to the Year of the Teacher and Mentor held in Vladivostok
Primorye is rightfully considered the educational center of the Russian Far East. More than 50 thousand teachers work there. Of these, 1400 are young professionals, and more than 300 are honored teachers, honorary education workers. Teachers from all administrative regions of the Far East were invited to the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic.
The Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kravtsov, addressed the audience with a video message in which words of deepest gratitude, respect and appreciation were expressed to the teachers for their hard and very important work.
Dmitry Mariza, Acting Governor of Primorsky Krai, greeted the participants of the event from the stage. He presented awards to the most deserving representatives of the professional community. More than 30 heads and employees of the education sector received honorary titles, letters of thanks and certificates of honor from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The musical program of the evening featured the People's Artist of Russia Igor Butman and his quintet.
The concert "Dedication to Teachers" in Vladivostok was the first of a series of events that will be held in eight federal districts of the Russian Federation in the period from November 30 to December 13, 2023.
