The Humanitarian World Foundation is organizing assistance to the 52nd Moscow hospital. This is one of the first medical facilities that started taking patients with so-called community-acquired pneumonia and suspected coronavirus.
In today’s difficult epidemic situation, doctors, medical personnel have to work in an intensive mode. In the 52nd hospital in the north-west of the capital, patients with flu, bronchitis and other pulmonary diseases are being taken — all of them may have COVID-19. Moreover, according to the forecasts of virologists, the peak of the epidemic has not yet arrived.
In recent weeks, specialists of a medical institution cannot afford a weekend, and sometimes there is no way to just have lunch. Therefore, we, the Humanitarian World Foundation, decided to take on the responsibility of providing doctors and staff of the 52nd hospital with hot meals.
Lunches for those on whom our life and health depend today are prepared at the "Buloshnaya" restaurant house in the center of Moscow. This is an place in which caring, socially responsible people work. Of course, they immediately responded to our call.
Every day, meat dishes, hot side dishes, salads of fresh vegetables are prepared for the medical staff. The restaurant chefs comply with all sanitary rules, work in the kitchen wearing masks and gloves. Meals in special boxes are promptly delivered by the fund staff to the hospital.
To date, Moscow doctors have managed to cure 168 patients from coronavirus. Doctors save us, in fact they are today — at the forefront of the struggle, at the front. And we, in turn, must provide their rear areas and provide them with any feasible help.
